Steamed Chinese Broccoli and Shrimp

This recipe combines the delicate flavor of steamed broccoli with the tender bite of succulent shrimp. The dish starts with fresh broccoli florets that are steamed to perfection, then tossed in a savory sauce made with soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, and ginger.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch Chinese broccoli
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Steam the broccoli florets until tender but still crisp.
  2. In a separate pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
