Chicken Tikka Masala
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
Place the chicken in the Instant Pot and add the yogurt mixture. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes. Release the pressure and stir in the spices, oil, garlic, diced tomatoes, and broth. Return to high pressure for another 5 minutes.
Beef Stew
- 2 pounds beef stew meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Brown the beef in the Instant Pot using the sauté function. Add the onion, garlic, carrots, potatoes, broth, tomato paste, and thyme. Cook on high pressure for 30 minutes.
Pulled Pork
- 2 pounds pork shoulder
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Place the pork in the Instant Pot and add the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and smoked paprika. Cook on high pressure for 90 minutes.
Lentil Curry
- 1 cup brown or green lentils, rinsed and drained
- 2 cups water
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Brown the onion and garlic in the Instant Pot using the sauté function. Add the lentils, water, carrot, diced tomatoes, and curry powder. Cook on high pressure for 20 minutes.
Breakfast Omelette
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Beat the eggs in a bowl and pour them into the Instant Pot. Add the cheese, butter, salt, and pepper. Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
Chili
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 cup chili beans

- 2 cups uncooked white or brown rice
- 4 cups water

Place the rice in the Instant Pot and add the water and salt. Cook on low pressure for 10-15 minutes.
Yogurt
- 1 quart milk
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt (starter culture)
Heat the milk in the Instant Pot until it reaches 180°F. Allow it to cool to 110°F, then add the yogurt starter culture. Stir and let it sit for 8 hours or overnight.
