In order to excel in this position, it's essential to possess a combination of technical, business, and soft skills. While specific qualifications may vary depending on the industry and company, there are some key qualities that are universally desirable for a PM.

Core Skills and Qualities

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting software

Business Acumen
