Workout Routine Ideas
Getting a good workout can be a great way to improve your overall health, boost your mood, and increase your energy levels. However, with so many different types of exercises and routines out there, it can be difficult to know where to start or what will work best for you. Sample Workout Routines
Beginner Routine
If you're just starting out with working out, it's often best to start with simple exercises that focus on building overall strength. Here are a few routines you can try:
- Warm up with 5-10 minutes of light cardio (jogging in place or jumping jacks)
- Do 2 sets of 8-12 reps for each exercise:
- Push-ups
- Squats
- Lunges
- Planks
- Pull-ups (or assisted pull-ups if you can't do full pull-ups yet)
- Cool down with 5-10 minutes of stretching
Intermediate Routine
Once you've built up some strength, it's time to mix things up and challenge yourself a bit more. Here are a few intermediate routines:
