Throughout human history, folklore has played a significant role in shaping cultures and communities worldwide. It encompasses the traditional customs, tales, legends, music, dance, and superstitions passed down through generations by word of mouth or through written texts. Mythical Creatures from Around the World

European Folklore​

In ancient Greece, there was the Chimera, a three-headed creature said to be made up of a lion's head on one side, a goat's head on another, and a serpent's head in between. Similarly, the Norse mythology tells the story of the Midgard Serpent, a giant sea monster that encircles the world.

African Folklore​

In Yoruba mythology, there is the Ogum, a powerful deity with the head of an elephant, the body of a lion, and the tail of a serpent. This creature is revered for its strength and ferocity.

The Mapuche people of Chile have their own legend about the Caleuche, a beautiful, luminescent being said to appear in the mountains at night. This entity is believed to be a harbinger of good fortune and prosperity.
